AWL 322 Pt. 2
Yes, the Guard Dog Match is still a thing. With Dr. Jigoku still controlling the Grand,
World’s Tag Team, and New Year’s Tournament Championships, he has the power an
influence to impose some of his own twisted rules around here. Specifically, that any challenger to Jigoku DESTROY’s
AWL Grand Championship has to defeat one of the other Augments first.
Personally, I think it’s dumb. However the AWL Commissioner likes the idea
of challengers having to continually prove themselves so it probably wasn’t
hard for Jigoku to convince the boss to go along with this.
