The
main event of our spring Supercard was decided last weekend at AWL 306:
Jigoku DESTROY (C)
vs. Tiger Mask II (#1)
AWL Grand
Championship Match
1st
Title Defense
We have
to stop Dr. Jigoku from taking over all the championships of the Animated
Wrestling League. The man who defeated
Tiger the Great III to become the final Global Wrestling Monopoly Heavyweight
Champion sounds like just the cat for the job.
On the
complete opposite end of the card, the AWL Commissioner has heard from Dragon,
head trainer at the AWL Dojo and 1st AWL Champion, that he has two
students ready to move up to the main AWL Roster. Overjoyed at this news, the AWL Commissioner
has approved the following for Sakuramania Wrestlegenesis:
Takamichi Shin vs.
Satoshi Tobu
AWL Dojo
Graduation Match
It’s been a while since we’ve had a Graduation Match, so
I’ll go over the rules. 1 fall, 10 minute time limit. The winner
graduates from the dojo and becomes a full time AWL Wrestler. The loser returns to the dojo for further training. They may or may not get a second chance in the future. In the event of a time limit draw, BOTH wrestlers return to the dojo to continue their training. In order to give the new wrestler a clean start in the AWL, Graduation Matches are NOT counted towards the AWL Win Loss Records.
