Good
evening ladies and gentlemen. I am the AWL Commissioner. While it
is my foremost responsibility to remain strictly neutral in adjudicating the rules of the Animated Wrestling League, it is with
admitted pleasure that I hand down the following decision.
As you most assuredly know, Crisis Gundan defeated The Technicos for the Animated Wrestling League World Tag Team Championships. This match was not without controversy. There are claims that Sammy Nix never tapped out to the camel clutch, but the referee says Mr. Nix was clearly knocked out and that his body had quit for him. While this is unfortunate, the referee's decision is final. Crisis Gundan are the World Tag Team Champions. However, this leaves us in an unusual situation in the Tag Team Division.
When
The Technicos defeated Big & Spicy at AWL 88 to become AWL World
Tag Team Champions, they went into the bout with an unprecedented 5
Points. It costs 3 Points to challenge for the championship. In the
Chikara 3-Point system (Upon which the AWL system is based), becoming
champions reduces your point total to zero.
The
AWL is NOT Chikara (sadly). It is my ruling that challenging for and
winning the AWL World Tag Team Championship costs 3 Points, but that
former champions will retain any excess points they have when they inevitably lose the titles. Therefore,
The Technicos still have 2 Points
and shall have the opportunity to obtain a 3rd this weekend at AWL 94.
THIS. I HAVE
COMMISSIONED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
