The
entire AWL office is reeling from the shocking announcement yesterday by Matt
Classic Jr. The Test of Ten is an AWL concept
from back in Season 0. Any wrestler may
take the test. If they win, they may
make ANY request of the AWL Commissioner.
However, they must wager something of equal value for the reward they
want.
The
invoker must defeat 10 opponents. They are
granted three lives. Lose a match, lose
a life, face that opponent again. Lose
all your lives and the test is over.
The
level of competition in the AWL is so high that the idea of winning 10 straight
matches, even with 3 chances, is almost insane.
For Matt Classic Jr. to want this for himself just shows how much he
wants to make up for costing his team with his count out loss. He wants to give them a second chance.
Speaking
of second chances (Dang, nailed that segue!) there is only one slot left in the
AWL Joshi Championship Ladder Match. In
the spirit of second chances, we are going to have a triple threat match
between three women who haven’t earned their first victory in the Joshi
Division:
Yin vs. Spring Tiger vs. Solo Darling
Of course, should
any of these three women run thetable and defeat BOTH of their opponents, they will earn two victories and face Usa-Chan the following week for the final chance to become the first AWL Joshi Champion.
