Curry Man 一番！！！！ Or so he says anyway. Curry
Man is easily one of the strangest individuals in the Animated Wrestling League
(and that’s saying something). A long
time AWL veteran, the “King of Spice” combines a unique blend of the Japanese
Junior Heavyweight Style of wrestling with almost cartoonish antics and mind
games more at home in 1989 WWF. He
claims to be a Japanese native of Osaka and chalks his antics up to the ancient
tradition of Osaka comedians. However,
one only needs to listen to him try to speak Japanese to realize he’s about as
Japanese as Bob Sapp.
While he has never held gold in
the AWL, he still wears the gold medal he won in the 2012 W.W.E. Tournament
(and the ugly ring jacket he bought with his prize money). He recently formed a tag team with Tiny
called “Big & Spicy.” Together, they
are on a long quest for the AWL World Tag Team Titles, but standing in their
way are two humanoid monsters: Crisis Gundan!
