Dr. Jigoku Speaks

VICTORY!!  My newest creation has proven himself SUPERIOUR to his former form and won the AWL New Year’s Tournament!  That will show those FOOLS at the Nobel committee that my technology is not to be ignored!!
But this is just the beginning.  My creations now occupy two slots in the Best 4.  That means that absurd fraud running around with the belt yammering on about a “magic” jewel’s days are numbered.  But now experiment is complete if it’s results cannot be replicated.  Therefore, my new Destroyer will be tested again at AWL 301.  Consider the entire AWL roster on notice!

Warning; Incoming Fallout

During the off season, the AWL presented two shows.  One proudly and the other…less so.  Of course, I’m speaking of the AWL New Year’s Tournament and the Contractual Obligation Rumble respectively.  As is normal at such events, issues and rivalries between wrestlers popped up and there’s only one way to settle such things…in the ring! (If you didn’t know that, you haven’t been watching wrestling that long, have you?)

The following matches have been set for AWL 301 and feature fall out from the off season.

Erupcion Solar vs. Kid Canada
Erupcion Solar had the best season of his career last season and even ended it with a main event championship match in the Tokyo Dome…which he lost.  He followed that up by qualifying for the New Year’s Tournament…where he only made it to the second round before being eliminated by ResuBLACK.  Most recently he competed in the Contractual Obligation Rumble…for less than 5 seconds before being eliminated by Kid Canada.  Hopefully this match will be a chance for the Disciple of Liger to turn his fortunes around.

Chiba Akagi vs. Hebitsukai
The last two survivors of the Contractual Obligation Rumble face off in a match where their respective wrestling styles won’t be hampered by over the top rules.  Did the Scion of Submission get lucky at whatever building that was?  Or will the Serpentine Sensation reestablish himself at the top of the food chain in the AWL?

Familia (0) vs. The New Classics (0)
Points in Play
This first time ever match comes out of a moment in the Contractual Obligation Rumble when we saw all four of these men plus Matt Classic in the ring at the same time.  A couple of eliminations later and we have a match that EVERYONE in the AWL wants to see.  This is sure to be a sell out at the curtain as the entire roster wants to see one of the best tag teams of recent times take on the most decorated tag team of ALL time!

Coming soon: A Bad Idea

This weekend, in compliance with industry policy and against our better judgement, the Animated Wrestling League will present the second annual Contractual Obligation Rumble.  We apologize in advance.

I'm sorry.

I've been a terrible wrestling promoter.  Despite having a card on most of my videos that advertises this site, I haven't updated it in months.  The usual excused apply, illness, work, deep seeded emotional issues, that sort of thing.  But I'm going to make it up to you right now.  The next hour will see the second half of AWL Season 15 posted to this site with the 2020 New Year's Tournament to follow.  In a week, the Contractual Obligation Rumble will make it's unfortunate return.

Once again, I'm sorry.
