For the AWL World's Heavyweight Championship:

Wonder Kid:
Defending champion less than 24 hours away from his dream of being a 1 year champion.  His belt has been confiscated, his manager will not be at ringside, he faces 5 challengers including a former champion or two and the Bearer of the Prophecy.  His greatest challenge yet, will he survive?

Ultramantis Black:
It's all his fault.  The first man to ever win a 10-Minute Challenge.  He chose not to give an advantage to himself, but to stack the deck against the champion.  But remember, Ultramantis Black is known as The Most Devious Creature in CHIKARA for a reason.  Wheels within wheels, UMB is always planning 10 or even 20 steps ahead.  Part of me can't help but ask if everything since last January (When UMB snuck into the AWL as Black Tiger King and won the New Year's Tournament) has been part of a master plan.

Captain AWL:
The mysterious masked new newcomer from Parts Unknown.  Hand chosen by Ultramantis Black to participate in this match.  He is undefeated since debuting in the AWL just a few weeks ago.  The ultimate unknown quantity, thrown into a volatile formula like the Chamber, anything could happen.

Matt Classic:
Former 2 time AWL World Champion and the oldest of the old school.  He invented more wrestling moves and holds than the other participants in this match have ever learned.  Despite his advanced age, he is in the peak of health, but how long will that last?  The Elimination Chamber is 1000 miles outside of the throwback's comfort zone.  However, this is the man who beat Death himself in a steel cage match so you never know . . .

American Beetle:
Former Kaiju Grand Champion.  He's been pigeonholed as a tag team wrestler in the AWL for years.  UMB has given him this chance to break that mold once and forever.  Along with Matt Classic, he has drawn the short straw and must take the longest path to victory, but to the personification of the American Spirit, NOTHING is impossible.

Ma-Ji-Ku:
The longest reigning champion in AWL history!  Triple Crown Champion.  The final AWL Anarchy Champion.  The master of Lucha Libre.  The Warrior of Light.  The names and accomplishments go on and on.  But can Ma-Ji-Ku achieve the only honor and title that has escaped him in his storied career?  The AWL World Heavyweight Championship?  Only time (and not much of it) will tell.
