Full Card for AWL: 249

Since this week is the Go Home Show for AWL 250, the AWL Commissioner has already put out a 5 match card with some interesting implications for the midseason mega show.
AWL 249
MAIN EVENT
Wyvern vs. Big Foot
If Wyvern wins, Big Foot is BARRED from ringside at AWL 250!

Azteckaizer NEO vs. Project Tetsu (C)
AWL Intercontinental Championship Match
Final Title Defense

Matt Classic Jr. vs. LJ-04

A trio of matches featuring a trio that might not exist after AWL 250.  Matt Classic Jr. puts his career on the line against Ganba Hisshi Dark, so this week he gets a warmup match against another former AWL technico who has fallen to the dark side.
Speaking of evil, Dr. Jigoku’s monster Project Tetsu will make his 5th and final title defense against the Bearer of the Star of Aztec.  However, IF Project Tetsu wins, he will challenge the Grand Champion (whomever that may be) AFTER AWL 250 because the Grand Championship Match for that show has already been announced and promoted.
Speaking of the Grand Championship (Cue: Wrestletalk segue joke), the main event of AWL 249 will give Wyvern the chance to remove the only reason Tanaka Kenichi is still champion from the equation at 250.  However, I’m certain the Grand Champion has given his pet giant his marching orders: Make sure Wyvern is in no shape to compete at AWL 250.
                But that’s not all folks:

F.I.S.T. (2) vs. Nippon Yokkata (2)
2 Point/20 Minute Match
Points in Play
Last week, these two teams fought to a 15-minute time limit draw.  This is the rematch required under our system of rules.  It is expected that the winners will challenge for the AWL World Tag Team Championships at the Tag Matsuri.

Titan Ant vs. The Augment “Dragon
Last week, the enormous Titan Ant made his AWL debut in a tag team match against the Young Dragons, who were beaten so badly that they couldn’t answer the referee’s 20 count.  This week, we’ll see him one on one against one of Dr. Jigoku’s monsters.
