On behalf of the AWL World Heavyweight
Champion, I would like to congratulate Black Tiger King on his victory in the
2013 New Year’s tournament. However, Mr.
“King” should remember, that the so-called prophecy is by no means a guarantee
of championship success. Need I remind
anyone of the tragic fate of the late and once great Stig? No, I didn’t think so.
Besides, it doesn’t matter because Black
Tiger King isn’t going to get a title shot.
Nobody is. Wonder Kid is going to
equal and surpass his former one year title reign without ever having to defend
the gold.
We are implementing something called the 10
Minute Challenge. The rules are as
follows.
1. Any prospective contender must compete
against The Man Muscle Mountain in a non-title match with a 10 minute time
limit.
2. If the challenger survives the entire 10
minutes without losing, he gets his title shot on the very next episode of
AWL. That’s all he has to do, stay 10
minutes with the champ.
3. If, by some miracle, the challenger actually
beats Wonder Kid not going to happen then he not
only gets his title shot, but the challenger may choose the stipulations for
the match.
4. If and when the challenger loses, he is
OUT of the Best 4 for the crime of just not being good enough!
