Wrestler and #1 Contender to the AWL World Title, "Big" Ben
Nelson. Has been the apparent victim of an attack. He was found late Monday in the hallway of the AWL Arena. Details are still
coming in, but it appears he was at the Arena to train for his title
match and someone apparently jumped him on the way to the
locker room. The security cameras in that part of the Arena have been
damaged. Our tech team is examining the cameras now trying to retrieve any data they can, but we have nothing at the moment. Beyond
that, there's not much else we know at this time. Ben's medical
status as well as the status of this weekend's main event are
currently unknown. We will have more updates as they become
available.
