Good evening
ladies and gentlemen, I am the AWL Commissioner. Allow me to apologize for the lack of
communication during my recent trip to the United States of America. My work was of a sensitive nature and
required a certain amount of discretion.
I understand now that many of my staff and perhaps some of you reading
these words were worried about my health and safety. Again, I deeply apologize for any concern I
have caused.
But m labors
have born great fruit! The Animated
Wrestling League has entered into a mutually beneficial partnership with the
good people at Titor Conglomerate! In
exchange for a 20% share of the company, Titor has graciously allowed us to
make use of certain Chikara intellectual property and has given us permission
to contact wrestlers under Chikara contract about possible future
bookings. Expect to see some Chikara
talent making their AWL debuts in the near future!
Additionally, as
a sort of signing bonus, Titor has agreed to allow us access to one of their
many construction companies that happens to be based in Tokyo. This organization, Inbou Construction, has
been hired to give the AWL Arena a complete overhaul! No more will we be saddled with an antique
WWE RAW set. Even better, the all new
AWL Arena will be ready in time for this weekend’s AWL 62 event.

Finally, I am
pleased to announce that an annual AWL tradition will be retuning again this
year. On August 3rd, at AWL
63, we will hold the second annual AWL Tag Matsuri! This year, the Tag Matsuri will take the form
of a 16-man tag team tournament. The
winners will receive an AWL World Tag Team Title Match AND the ability to pick
their own stipulations!
