Crisis Gundan (C) vs. The Super Tiger Brothers: AWL World Tag Team Title Match.
This
match is the very definition of the proverbial double edged sword. On the one hand, the Super Tiger Brothers
(Tiger Mask and Shin Tora) won their way into the tag title picture and saved
themselves from Batsumania. On the other
hand, they now have a match with Crisis Gundan the only undefeated tag team in
the AWL who has a bad habit of injuring their opponents.
We
contacted the Tiger’s Cave Dojo and learned that Tiger Mask and Shin Tora are
spending the week on a training retreat in the mountains of Gunma Prefecture in
central Japan and were thus unavailable for comment, but it’s good to know that
they are taking this opportunity at the tag team titles seriously and not just
looking at their likely beating as the payment for keeping their jobs.
However,
Yarina was more than willing to issue a press release (seriously, that woman
never met a microphone she didn’t like).

This
is insulting. Not only are the best tag
team in the world today, Crisis Gundan forced to step foot in the ring with a
couple of rejects from the AWL Baby Division, but they are literally the WORST
WRESTLERS IN THE COMPANY!! They should
be fighting to avoid a pink slip and the know it. This Sunday, at AWL 60, Crisis Gundan is
going to literally walk all over these two kittens. It’s going to be a very short match, but don’t
expect a discount on their appearance fee.
