Good evening ladies and
gentlemen, I am the AWL Commissioner. First of all, allow me to
apologize for the lateness of my communication this week. I have
spent most of the week in consultation with Dr. Mark Feelgood and the
rest of the AWL Medical Team regarding the status of our new AWL
World Light Heavyweight Champion Tiger Mask II.
While I profoundly wish I had
better news, Tiger Mask II received severe injuries to both his
shoulder as a direct result of the attack from Mil Muertes last
weekend.
Unfortunatly, as a champion in
the Animated Wrestling League, Tiger Mask II has responsibilities
that he can not be allowed to shirk. Specifically, ny own decree
that both singles championships be defended every other week. The
next AWL World's Light Heavyweight Championship Match is scheduled to
take place at AWL 144 on August the 2nd. Tiger Mask II has that long
to becleared to wrestle or he will quite unfortunately be stripped of
the championship.
Speaking of champions, while I
was rather impressed by Hassan's victory over AJ Styles last week, I
am not ready to recognize his title within the Animated Wrestling
League. However, I AM ready and willing to reward him for his
victory...By entering him into the AWL Best 4!

Ben Nelson will have his
opportunity to challenge HAKAISHA in less than 48 hours at AWL 143.
